Stress Consequences to Your Body

From time to time every single person on earth feels stressed. It may be caused by anything and you know perfectly how to cope with uncomfortable situations. As far as stress is the ultimate proof of the mind-body connection, you should know not only the reaction of your brain and learn to find solutions and control your emotions but also understand what happens to your body every time you feel stressed.
The very important part of your life is resting and sleeping. You can't feel well if your mind and body is tired. Stress stimulates a surge of hormones which makes your sleep and relaxation moments worthless. Exhausted body needs a good rest, but as far as you can't rest while you are stressed you may start to feel headaches, moodiness, and memory loss, inability to concentrate and even aggressive behavior.
It's well known for a long time that constant stress weakens your immune system; therefore you are always in danger to get colds, the flu or other dangerous health issues. Such heart effects as heart attack are also usually the consequence of stress. Moreover, you couldn't even imagine that physical stress symptoms may affect such body places as ears, hair and even lungs.
Stress may cause bad breath and mouth. You start to take shorter and shallower breathes while feeling anxious. You may start clenching your jaws or grinding your teeth. This effect may occur in the middle of the night, without you even noticing it. But it's one of the signs that you are stressed and that your body can't relax even while you're sleeping.
It's not a surprise that constant tension affects our skin. Increased acne, rashes and itchy patches are symptoms that you need to relax and avoid nervous tension. Usually when people are embarrassed they blush. That is also bodies' reaction to stress. Yet if a person is stressed daily, he or she will probably go pale after some time. If your skin is very sensitive, greasy or has some defects, be sure the situation will only get worse if you're stressed.
If you have shingles tension may cause a real outburst. Although common place of this virus is lips you may end up with whole body covered with shingles. Not enough while you're stressed it'll heal very slowly.
The consequences to your digestion may be constipation, diarrhea or even spastic colon. Constant stress makes brain divert blood from the digestive tract, which effectively slows your digestion. If nervous tension is your every day life, you may end up with colitis and irritable bowel syndrome.
If you notice such small things in your behavior as becoming irritable and intolerant of even minor disturbances, loosing temper or getting irritated for no reason, feeling exhausted all the time, you find it hard to concentrate on tasks, worry too much about insignificant things, doubt yourself in doing something, you imagine negative or terrifying scenes, you probably have a serious stress problem and if you ...
