Let’s face it, us women love high heel shoes. They make us feel sexy and glamorous and they give us that extra height that enables us to walk tall and proud. But there are so many different heights, colours and styles of shoe to choose from that it can sometimes be a challenging task to select the pair which will suit you best. So let’s look at few pointers to help you select the perfect pair of pair high heels.
In general, narrow heeled shoes look better on those people who are slender and should be worn with clothes that are slimming. Those people who have a heavier build would be best advised to choose platform high heels or a thicker heel to keep a more proportionate look.
Then there’s the issue of what colour high heel shoes to select. Black is easily the most obvious choice if you’re seeking for a multi-purpose shoe that you can wear with a great number of outfits but with numerous other fabulous colours to select it has to be a terrible shame not to try and pull off bright pink, pillar box red or leopard print, if the outfit is appropriate and the occasion fitting.
The style of the shoe you choose will also be important and you will have to consider how much support you need out of your shoes and what you will be wearing them with prior to making your purchase.
As with any footwear, it is important to test drive your new high heel shoes before you wear them on a big night out. Once you have decided on and made your purchase you will need to get your feet slowly used to wearing these new shoes, especially if they are higher than the ones you normally opt for. Practice makes perfect after all, so it never hurts to stroll up and down your living room in your new heels so you can walk flawlessly in them by the time you wear them properly.
Whatever high heel shoes you look at, from black strappy stilettos to animal print platforms or bright red court shoes, choose wisely if you want to generate some serious shoe envy!
