Despite how you might feel about Lady Gaga's style or music, after seeing her walk down the Mugler runway like a pro, it'd be hard to doubt her mastery of sky-high heels.

Courtesy of a live stream on the Mugler Facebook page, hundreds of thousands of fans across the globe had access to Nicola Formichetti's debut womenswear collection for the Parisian design house, which had its heyday in the '80s and '90s.

Before the show, fans got a behind-the-scenes look at the presentation, including Gaga practicing her runway walk backstage.

"I want people to see me walk and say, 'She's a Mugler woman.' That's what I want them to say," the pop star told her handlers and Formichetti, who is also her stylist, on the feed.

Another time, a clearly nervous Gaga, clad in knee-length platinum-blond pigtails, says, "If I vomit on stage, it'd be good press."

Once the show started, however, Gaga looked to put her nerves behind her. She first appeared in dramatic fashion (would you expect anything less?) by smoking a cigarette at the end of the runway. Then shimmied up and down the catwalk in two different ensembles. The first was a sheer black top over a skimpy black bodice paired with a long and semi-see-through black latex skirt and a flat graduation-style cap.

She twisted and turned her hips and took the runway with such speed that it was almost as if she was wearing sneakers, not the 5-inch-plus platform heels that posed a problem for at least two models who stumbled and had to hold on to arches lining the cathedral-like runway to regain their balance.

Gaga's second ensemble, which closed the show, was a nude corset top worn underneath a sheer white turtleneck and with a skintight long white skirt, again paired with a wide hat and a long piece of fluid fabric that she dramatically whipped off and twirled around her body as if she were Pat Cleveland.

At another time, to the beat of her own hit "Born This Way," which played twice during the show alongside her new track "Government Hooker," she looped her fabric around one of the arches and did some dirty dancing.

Never one to shy away from controversy, before hitting the stage for a third time to help Formichetti take a bow, Gaga took her end-of-runway pose and touched her crotch.
