More striking again, love at first sight really happen because the brain responds very quickly. At least there are 12 areas in the brain involved in the release of various emotions of love hormones such as dopamine, oxytocin, adrenaline and vasopresi.
The role of each part of the brain differently depending on the shape of love experienced by a person. For example, the unconditional love (unconditional love) as it experienced a mother to her children, most held the role of the midbrain. The dominance of a more complex role occurs precisely at the torrid love (passionate love). In this kind of feeling, there are some parts of the brain tend to be more active in them the reward system which is a pleasure as well as the cognitive center for imaging the body.

Prof. Ortigue examining brain reaction when they fall in love and publish the results in the Journal of Sexual Medicine recently. He hopes his findings could be useful in dealing with emotional disorders and depression in people who rarely knows what it's like falling in love.
